From Snake to Horse: What This New Year Symbolism Means for Our Creative Journey

As we step into a brand new year, I’ve been reflecting on something beautifully
symbolic a transition that feels deeply aligned not just with my own life, but with
the journey so many of us are on together.

2025 was the Year of the Snake, and whether or not you follow Chinese zodiac
symbolism, its themes perfectly match the season many women in our community
have been moving through.

The Snake represents:
✨ shedding old layers
✨ deep reflection
✨ clarity and wisdom
✨ strategic rebuilding
✨ quiet but powerful growth
✨ preparing for something bigger

And when I look back, that’s exactly what this past year has been for me.

It was a year of quietly strengthening the foundations of everything I do, creating
fresh offerings, and stepping more boldly into the multi-faceted artist–teacher–
humanitarian role that feels more “me” than ever.

It was also a year of letting go.
Of releasing old expectations, outgrown identities, and outdated rhythms that no
longer matched where I was heading.

Snake years invite us inward so we can emerge clearer, lighter, and more aligned.

And now… it’s time to emerge.

Because 2026 brings the energy of the Year of the Horse, and everything about it
feels like a breath of fresh air.

The Horse invites:

2026 will be the year where we shift from quiet introspection into joyful expansion.

For me, it feels like everything I’ve been building in the background, the membership,
new courses, new art, new projects - is ready to move, grow, and take shape in ways
that feel energising and exciting.

And I want the same for you.

The Horse reminds us that you don’t need to have everything perfect before you begin,
you just need to start moving.
One brushstroke.
One moment of connection.
One creative win.
One act of showing up for yourself.
